Film & Sheet Extrusion-GLOBALINE Debutante

Another debutant at NPE is GLOBALINE®, a sheet extrusion system from US machinery manufacturer PTi. It is available in two varieties, one with throughputs up to 500kg/hr, produces sheet that is 1m wide, the second produces 1m or 1.5m wide sheet, and has a maximum throughput of 1000kg/hr. Both can handle mono- or co-extrusion.

Features include: walk-through operator access across the line; a linear bearing-mounted roll stand; operator catwalks and safety railings; and standard water cooled circuits.

The line is smaller than the company's usual offerings, which it hopes will help it supply to smaller companies with smaller production volumes-both in the domestic markets and overseas.
