AntiSTAT™ Transfer Roll Coater
PTi’s solution to electro-statically charged sheet is resolved with a combination of anti-static bars and its patented technology of the anti-static sheet coating system (#8,342,118). This patented model uses transfer roll technology to apply coating medium which is dispersed into a squeegee/transfer roll nip, applied to the transfer roll, and then is applied uniformly to the sheet via the transfer roll.

eAntiSTAT™ (Antistatic Transfer Roll Coater)
PTi’s base model, eAntiSTAT™, applies the coating medium directly onto the sheet via sparger tubes. Excess medium is removed by neoprene squeegee rolls. Unlike basic immersion (bath style) coaters, the eAntiSTAT™ technology enables processors to apply coating medium to the top side, the bottom side, or both sides of the sheet. Web path does not change for pass-thru; sparger pumps can be turned on or off when bypassed.
