PTi Announces Appointment of Rick Forbis as Director - Business Development

Processing Technologies International, LLC (PTi) is pleased to announce that Rick Forbis has joined its organization as the Director - Business Development.   With over 32 years of experience in plastics machinery equipment sales he has held regional and territorial management positions for LCI Corporation, Merritt Davis, Southern Plastics Equipment, Extrusion Dies Industries and Battenfeld-Cincinnnati.   Rick comes with extensive knowledge in mono- and co-extruded sheet extrusion systems as well as plastic recycling, coating and pelletizing systems.  In his most recent position as USA National Sales Manager, he was instrumental in introducing high speed single screw technology into the North American packaging markets.

Rick graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in Business Administration. 

Rick's extensive experience in the plastics industry is well-aligned with PTi's newly completed 2017 production and Technology Development Center expansion projects and will strongly contribute to the company's overall growth strategies.  In addition to his role as Director - Business Development, Rick will manage the southeast regional sales activities from PTi's new Sales Office in Charlotte, NC.

As a sheet extrusion technology leader, PTi markets its sheet related machinery products under the brand names of G-Series^®, Super G^®, TITAN^® PLC Controls, HVTSE^® (high vacuum twin screw extruders), Revolution^® Industrial Roll Stands and Trident^® Industrial Extruders.   And with the recent addition of the Super G^® High Speed Extruder lineup, PTi will continue to expand its role as a leading producer of sheet extrusion machinery systems.
