A-Frame Winders
PTi A-Frame Winders are designed for applications requiring large or “jumbo” diameter rolls, typically ranging from 48 to 72 inches. Systems can be configured with multiple winding positions to accommodate a variety of production requirements.
During winding, the sheet is wound onto a shaft mounted on a movable A-Frame cart. Once the roll is complete, the cart can be transported directly to downstream thermoforming operations, where it can also be used to unwind the roll.
This versatile design simplifies roll handling and material transfer while providing an efficient solution for large-diameter plastic sheet winding.
