Description

We are seeking an electrical controls designer to work in our engineering department designing electrical interconnect systems for industrial machinery. Daily responsibilities include designing and creating electrical schematics and electrical interconnect diagrams using AutoCAD and generating bills of material such that electrical assemblers can build control panels and wire machinery from these designs.

Requirements

·        Minimum of an associates degree in related field (electrical or mechanical technology preferred), or equivalent experience in the design of industrial electrical controls and interconnects.

·        Working knowledge of Microsoft office products and AutoCAD proficiency is a minimum requirement.

·        Ability to communicate well on all levels, verbal and written

Reports

This position reports to the Electrical Design supervisor, and works in a supporting role to the Electrical Project Engineers.
