Manufacturing Engineer 

Description:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to fill a critical role in the Manufacturing Department. This position is responsible for improving the quality, safety, efficiency, and profitability of the manufacturing process. The Manufacturing Engineer evaluates existing procedures, identifies problem areas, and then provides and implements solutions.
 

Duties Include:

• Assesses procedures and resources to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Acts as liaison between manufacturing and project management, engineering, and service.
• Leads improvement projects.
• Documents manufacturing and quality control procedures.
• Assists in day-to-day supervision of manufacturing operations.
• Participates in resource planning/scheduling .
• Special projects in manufacturing, materials, procurement, scheduling, vendor evaluations.

This is a 'hands-on' position that will require work in the production plant.

Requirements

Candidates must possess :

• BSME or BS in related field (Master’s Degree preferred) with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Scheduling and Purchasing.
• Excellent computer skills and expertise in Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of machine shop practices, MRP/ERP software (M2M used here).
• and AutoCAD expience a plus.
