Mechanical Project Engineer 

 

Responsibilities

Design of mechanical systems including power transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics, and water temperature control systems; determining machining tolerances; conducting strength analysis; providing project related drawings and BOMs for manufacture; providing customers with approval and installation drawings and equipment manuals; performing equipment tests and resolving technical issues; maintaining project files.

This position reports to the Mechanical Engineering Manager Production. 

Requirements
Successful candidate must possess:

  • BSME with 1-3 years minimum applicable experience
  • Proficiency in the following: SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent working knowledge of power transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining tolerances, heat transfer, strength analysis a plus.
